LERDERGERG GORGE

WANDER OFTEN, WONDER ALWAYS
Lerdergerg Gorge Heritage River Walk
SUNDAY 18TH JANUARY 2026
Journey deep into the rugged beauty of the Lerderderg Gorge on this heritage trail that weaves together nature and history. Following the path of the river, we’ll walk beneath towering cliffs, cross tranquil stretches of water, and explore shaded bush tracks that feel far removed from city life. Along the way, echoes of the past linger in remnants of the gold mining era, reminding us of the people who once worked these valleys.
This trail offers a moderate challenge, with uneven terrain and sections that test your footing, but that’s part of what makes it so rewarding. Together, in the company of like-minded women, every climb and crossing feels lighter. We’ll move at a steady pace, support each other, and share in the sense of achievement that comes from tackling something a little tougher.
More than just a walk, this is a chance to immerse yourself in stunning natural landscapes, breathe deeply, and connect — with the environment, with yourself, and with the women beside you. The laughter, stories, and encouragement along the way are just as memorable as the dramatic views of the gorge itself.
