Steavenson Falls

WANDER OFTEN, WONDER ALWAYS

Steavenson Falls and Keppel Lookout

SUNDAY 23 NOVEMBER 2025

Embark on a breathtaking full-day women’s hike to Steavenson Falls, exploring one of Victoria’s most picturesque alpine regions. Beginning at the base of the iconic Steavenson Falls in Marysville — one of the tallest waterfalls in the state — this guided adventure kicks off with the dramatic 84-metre cascade plunging into a lush, fern-lined valley.

From there, the trail leads into towering mountain ash forests, climbing steadily along a mix of fire trails and narrower bush tracks through cool temperate rainforest and eucalyptus woodlands. This scenichike offers a satisfying challenge for women with a good base level of fitness and a love of nature.

A highlight of the Steavenson Falls Women’s Hike is reaching Keppel Lookout, a spectacular vantage point offering panoramic views over the Cathedral Ranges, Marysville township, and the surrounding wilderness. It’s the perfect place to pause, snap a few photos, and soak in the beauty of Victoria’s high country.

Throughout the day, you’ll be nourished with a thoughtfully curated selection of healthy hiking snacks and a wholesome, freshly prepared lunch — designed to energise your body and support your wellness journey. All food is made with whole, real ingredients and caters to a variety of dietary needs.

As the loop trail descends, the forest opens to reveal even more scenic vistas. There’s plenty of time to pause, breathe, and truly connect — with nature, yourself, and the inspiring women walking beside you.

Whether you’re seeking a physical challenge, a mindful break from routine, or the joy of shared adventure, the Steavenson Falls Women’s Hike delivers an unforgettable day of movement, nourishment, and connection.

Walk with us and celebrate strength, friendship, and the thrill of exploring the great outdoors — one step at a time.
