WANDER OFTEN, WONDER ALWAYS

MORNINGTON PENINSULA ESCAPE

5 – 7 September 2025

Step into nature’s embrace as we trek through the breathtaking landscapes of Cape Schanck and the Mornington Peninsula National Parks. This women-only hiking adventure is thoughtfully designed to offer the perfect balance of gentle challenge, meaningful connection, and moments of deep restoration.

You’ll be fuelled for your journey with delicious breakfasts, nourishing snacks, and a relaxed lunch at the award-winning T-Gallant winery, nestled among rolling vineyards. As dusk settles on Saturday, a private relaxation dome at Peninsula Hot Springs becomes your sanctuary—where warm, mineral-rich waters and antipasto platters from Cath’s Kitchen create an atmosphere of calm, comfort and community.

Together, we’ll embrace the joy that comes from carving out time for ourselves: stepping away from the everyday, walking through nature’s beauty, and connecting with like-minded women. With every trail walked, every story shared, and every meal savoured, we’ll create unforgettable memories, deepen our sense of self, and return home recharged—body, mind and spirit.

Come along and be part of something truly special.

Today’s hike takes us through some of the most breathtaking landscapes of the Cape Schanck National Park, where coastal cliffs meet lush greenery. We’ll traverse the serene trails of Greens Bush, soak in the rugged beauty of Bushrangers Bay, and marvel at the dramatic ocean views from Cape Schanck, forging unforgettable memories together along the way.

Next, we head to the rustic and welcoming T’Gallant Winery for a relaxed late lunch featuring delicious Italian-style dishes and sweeping vineyard views.

The afternoon is yours to unwind. Soak up the scenery from your accommodation or enjoy a wine tasting at Foxy’s cellar door, located on-site.

As the sun sets, we come together for a truly special experience at the Peninsula Hot Springs. Relax in our private dome and thermal pools, where warm mineral waters and curated antipasto from Cath’s Kitchen create a nourishing, soul-soothing evening under the stars.

Total distance 16 km

After a nourishing breakfast and a gentle morning yoga session to awaken your body, we’ll lace up our boots for one final adventure. Today’s walk takes us through the scenic beauty of Mornington Peninsula National Park, where forested trails give way to sweeping ocean views across the Bass Strait.

We’ll explore the historic Cape Schanck Lighthouse, standing tall since 1859, then venture out to Pulpit Rock, a striking natural formation shaped by wind and sea. Our path continues toward Gunnamatta Beach, renowned for its wild waves and raw coastal energy. Keep your eyes peeled—you might just spot seals, dolphins, or even a passing whale.

We’ll wrap up our journey here, with time to reflect, snap a few final photos, and share stories with newfound friends. From here, you’re free to continue exploring the wonders of the Mornington Peninsula at your own pace—or head home feeling refreshed, connected, and inspired.

Nestled in the heart of Main Ridge, Morning Sun Vineyard offers the perfect home for our retreat—peaceful, picturesque, and full of charm.
